Your Questions

Here are answers to the questions we hear most often from athletes and active adults considering our services.

Do you take insurance?

We are cash-based and do not bill insurance directly. We provide superbills so you can submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement, and we accept HSA and FSA payments. Many clients find that the 1:1, unrushed sessions here move them further and faster than insurance-based clinics that limit time with the provider.

How long are the sessions?

Sports PT sessions are 60 minutes, 1:1 with your provider from start to finish, no shared appointments and no rushing through your care. Performance training and group fitness sessions vary by format. If you want to know what to expect from a specific program, just ask when you reach out and we will walk you through the details.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on your history, goals, and how your body responds. After a full movement and strength assessment in your first session, your provider will outline a clear plan with a realistic timeline. Most people notice meaningful progress within the first few visits. The goal is always to move you efficiently, not to keep you coming in longer than you need to.

Can I get back to my sport?

That is exactly why most of our clients come to us. We build progressive, sport-specific plans that move you from injury through rehab and back into full activity, working on strength, movement, and return-to-sport progressions. When you return, you are prepared and confident, not just cleared without a plan. Many people also finish the process more durable than before the injury.

What makes this different?

At Local Motion, every session is 60 minutes, 1:1 with your provider. We focus on strength, progressive loading, and getting you back to what you care about, not passive treatments that do not translate. You also have access to your provider between sessions so questions do not have to wait. If your last PT experience felt generic or slow, this model is built differently.
